CIVIL SERVICE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT

An Innovative Solution

Often times our clients have everything they need to succeed, they just require the resources and support to make a strategic jump. We worked on this project for several months and the end result was truly spectacular. We developed business analytics and performance dashboards related to the strategic plan of the organization. Then we drilled down to develop cascading plans linking individual performance planning of more than 600 civil servants to the plans of 4 departments, 8 divisions, and 28 operational units. We also developed merit reward policy to motivate staff performance. By ensuring consistent and transparent communication through the framework, our client was able to progress by leaps and bounds.

We approached this project carefully, as it was our very first undertaking of this scale. We studied our client’s data to create a focused and effective solution - and then offered clear strategies for mid-course adjustments of the thrust of the national development plan. Turning a New Page

Clients often approach Development Management Associates LLC with a general idea of what they need to do to go forward, and this project was no different. We were able to jump right in with our expertise and help this African government complete the merger of units of five major public institutions into two. Today, mandates and functions, institutional structures and responsibilities, and the way forward for the next three to five years are exceptionally well formulated. We’re proud to have been part of the process.

Land Information Management System Redesign

An Innovative Solution

Our clients needed a walk-through of various options for the design and roll out of a digital land information system. They had everything they needed to succeed, they just required the resources and support to make a strategic jump. We worked on this project for several months and the end results are still evolving. But our clients were able to understand the options and challenges ahead and chose a path that will start with a pilot data center, eGIS applications, and Trimble advance positioning solutions at two locations. A digital land information system will be built out over an 18-month period connecting national level and regional users. Technical capacity and public confidence will be built incrementally.
